We are located at the roundabout on Donner Pass Rd in historic downtown Truckee.
Eastbound Interstate 80: Follow I-80 E to Donner Pass Rd in Truckee. Take exit 186 from I-80 E. Turn right onto Donner Pass Rd. At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit. Our parking lot is on the left.
Westbound Interstate 80: Follow I-80 W to Donner Pass Rd in Truckee. Take exit 186 toward Central Truckee. Turn left onto Donner Pass Rd toward Truckee, Historic District. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit. Our parking lot is on the left.
Additional Parking: We have additional parking located above our salon on High Street.

Mane Attraction is a full service salon located in historic downtown Truckee. We have been serving our clients since 1991. For your convenience, we offer one-stop service for all your styling needs from haircuts to color, skin care, waxing services, bridal services, permanent makeup, and high quality hair and skin care products.
COVID-19
It is our goal to provide you with the best quality of services and highest safety and hygiene standards possible. We are following all the requirements of the CDC, State Board, California State and Nevada County to ensure the safety of everyone. Following are some of the continued procedures and improvements we've made to the salon.
If you are feeling ill or have recently been exposed to someone else who was ill, please call the salon to reschedule your appointment.
All staff and clients who are not yet vaccinated are required to wear a mask at all times while in the salon. If you have been vaccinated, you may choose to wear a mask or not while in the salon. We ask that each client either wash or sanitize their hands upon entering and exiting the salon. We also ask each client to be aware of their personal physical distance from other clients while in the salon.
Our staff sanitize their stations and themselves meticulously between each client. In an effort to properly physically distance ourselves, we are not using all of our stations. We have eliminated beverages and snacks as well as magazines temporarily. Unfortunately, no additional guests are allowed in an effort to reduce the number of people in the salon at all times. Frequent sanitizing of the salon is done throughout the day along with motion sensor air purifiers. Upon arrival you may check in and wait in your car or we will provide waiting areas with proper physical distance.
You may always order your products in advance and opt for curbside pickup. We’ll coordinate a specific time and location for easy, limited contact pickup.
In these uncertain times, we urge our community to continue to act with compassion and care as we consider how we move about the world, taking necessary precautions to protect yourself and each other.
